I have been drawn to the Knights of Columbus over the past 9 years due to their virtues of Charity and Unity in support of Catholic Education at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School in Port Charlotte, FL.  The council continuously promotes fund raising activities to support Catholic Education for 21st Century Disciples. My wife is the principal of the school. So, I became involved in actively supporting her and the Knights extensively at the school and church. In addition, I got involved with the Knights in supporting the local community for people in need.

In my interaction with the Knights, I was also very impressed with the Fraternal brotherhood for each other and commitment to Patriotism. Being in the military, these same virtues were instilled in me early on in my career.

I decided to join the Knights to spiritually give back to my Catholic faith, the community, the school and to help Brother Knights financially protect their families.
